On September 14th we, finally, brought her home!!
Our sweet girl is full of spunk and joy!
It took exactly 6 months to bring her home but she is flourishing in her new family!!
Over the next few weeks, I'll try to catch up on why it took 6 months to bring her home
But for now, just enjoy these sweet pictures Mary took of our family along the Nile
Funny story with this picture, half a second later that cow head butted me throwing me into the air. Luckily it was just startling and no one was hurt! We all laughed that a cow could sneak up on us like that. If you ask, Noelien loves to tell the story of "Maama get bonked on the booty!"
This post brings me so much joy! I have been checking back sporadically to see if you were home with your precious daughter. My husband and I traveled to Uganda for our court date in July, and after 7 weeks in country, returned without having our case heard. In September, my husband returned for court and our verbal ruling was issued this week. We are looking forward to bringing our precious daughter home, too! Blessings to you!
